Calling friends/relatives/business contacts is a part of our day to day life. Telephone calls are integral part of our life, however often they ain't cheap and can make you pay lot more than you can afford or like to pay.

Greedy telecom companies jack up the calling rates to most destinations since you are mostly going to use your landline phone to make calls. However, people slowly realised a better cost saving calling option called Calling Cards which can save upto 90% on local and international calls. This is simply great.

However which calling card would you select when there are literally thousands of calling cards available in the market. Well, today we look at the market leader in calling cards Pennytalk.

Pennytalk is owned by IDT, the guys behind Net2Phone. Its the first ever VOIP service introduced several years back. IDT is fortune 1000 company and owns large telephony infrastructure and backbones to ensure call quality and reliability at the same time offering the service at extremely cheap cost. Since IDT is a large carrier they can offer calls at extremely cheap wholesale rates to all retail consumers.

The average customer satisfaction index for Pennytalk is 8.5 out of 10, when its competitors are nowhere close to 6. This clearly means that consumers not only prefer pennytalk but use them more often that other calling cards available in the market.

You can call anywhere in the world from only 2 cents per minute and calling within USA/Canada will cost you only 1 cent per minute. These calling rates are rock bottom prices. Pennytalk also offers services through Access numbers in over 30 countries.

We suggest you try Pennytalk for its reliable and cheaper calling service.

I've been a customer of PennyTalk for two years now and I have no complaints about them. Almost all of my long-distance calling is done to friends and family members in the USA so the small charge for the connection fee is minimal compared to what I save when talking for an hour or two with this plan. They have never added minutes to my charge card without my knowledge and permission. The connections are clear and quickly made, never cut off. I have pre-programmed into my home phone the access number so don't have to dial so many numbers when I call. I think it's a good plan, economical price, and it works well for me.

I SIGNED UP FOR PENNYTALK LAST MONDAY FOR A PHONE INTERVIEW IN AUSTRALIA - WHEN I TRIED TO CALL THAT EVENING IT STATED MY ACCOUNT HAD BEEN DISABLED. A WEEK LATER IT STILL STATES MY ACCOUNT IS DISABLED AND WHEN I PHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE, SURE ENOUGH, THEY ARE READY TO HANG UP ON ME. THE COMPANY HAD SET MY ACCOUNT TO AUTOCHARGE WITHOUT PERMISSION AND BEFORE I KNOW IT - I'M OUT 50 BUCKS AND STILL HAVE NOT MADE ONE PHONE CALL. A LIST OF MAGICAL NUMBERS WERE POSTED MY 'CALL HISTORY' EVEN THOUGH MY ACCOUNT WAS DISABLED. MY ADVICE - DO NOT SIGN UP AND CERTAINLY NEVER GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD NUMBER.

PENNYTALK IS A TOTAL RIPOFF, I BOUGHT A SIMPLE 5$ CARD, WHICH WILL NOT EVEN WORK. CUSTOMER SERVICE REFUSES TO HELP AT ALL THEY HANG UP ON YOU ALL DAY LONG JUST SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO CREDIT THE ACCOUNT YOU HONESTLY PAYED FOR WHEN THEIR SYSTEM WILL NOT CONNECT CALLS BUT STILL CHARGE FOR IT. THIS IS UNJUST AND THEY PRIDE THEM SELF'S ON TAKING HARD EARNED MONEY FROM THE AMERICAN PUBLIC. THIS IS WRONG SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE. WE AS AMERICANS SHOULD NOT STAND FOR COMPANY'S SUCH AS THIS. FROM A CONCERNED AMERICAN

I think you should name those hidden fees most calling cards charge you. After testing tons of them, finally I've found voice88.com. These guys are really honest, they don't take out your money from your account, you just pay for minutes you talk
