Can you imagine this? Airtel is offering US to India calling at just 1/c a min. The $ 9.99 pack of India One has a rental of $ 3.99, for the balance $ 6 you get the rate of 1 cent/min rate on local access. This is applicable on any call terminating on either landline or mobile phone in India. i.e. you get an amazing 600 mins in just $10 on local access. You need to use the minutes within 30 days of buying the product. If you call using the toll free number the rate is still an attractive 3 c/min. So hurry...Sign up NOW for the best quality calls at affordable prices! For more information visit at http://www.airtelcallhome.com

The general plan allows to call 600 minutes to India for $10. Initailly there was some connection issues to the local access numbers but it is resloved. I am using airtel for two years (I paid almost 6 cents/minutes initially) and I am happy with the service - clarity, value for money, etc. If you want to get more cheaper rates, I would suggest Vonage IP phone service.

Airtel Sucks! Worst customer service. They didn't resolved my issue for 10 days, when I called them 5 times. They suck. Be aware of them. One stupid guy named Rohit Kumar at Chandigarh pick call as floor supervisor and he failed to solve my issue for several hours. They all suck. Screw airtel.

I never got connected to their local access numbers without having trouble. I mailed them about the problem and all i got in response was big dissappointment. They didnt replied. I use approx 4000-4500 mins/month, so am always out there looking for the best possible deals. Airtel says their call home plan is 1 cent..."Fuck them"..consumers actually pay 2.4 cent/min...'Thats a raw head rip off'.."They arent even using Lubricant while fucking their customers so hard.."..... I personally would not recommend Airtel to anybody on this planet..i repeat anybody on this planet...Visit raza.com, IndiaLD..these might not be the ultimate solution for our calling needs..but they are far better than Airtel..thats my personal experience with them.

General plan starts @ $ 25 Regular minutes = 455 Free minutes = 60 Total = 515 So per minute, its 4.8 cents. ------------------------------------------------- With India One, Plan value $9.99 Rental Value = $3.99 Talk time = $6 Minutes = 600 (if you use local access) = 200 (if you use toll free) So per minute, its 1.66 cents on local access and 4.99 cents on toll free. ------------------------------------------------- Now that customers are used to Airtel, its fooling the customers with IndiaOne Max and IndiaOne Neo. IndiaOne Max, Plan value $14.99 Rental Value = $8.99 Talk time = $6 Minutes = 600 (Mobile and local access) = 300 (Landline and Local access) = 300 (Mobile and toll free) = 200 (Landline and toll free) So per minute, 2.5 cents (Mobile and local access) 5 cents (Landline and Local access) 5 cents (Mobile and toll free) 7.5 cents (Landline and toll free) You calculate for IndiaOne Neo and decide. How can you say its 1 cent/min? How is it benificial over the General Plan. Atleast general plan has no expiration date. - Kumar
