There is a website called www.morodo.co.uk They offer 3 GBP for every signup. The process of signup is very easy,

You have to choose a loging id, give your email and also your mobile number. Once you complete the first step they will send you the activation code through SMS to the mobile number you have used during registration.

Take that code and put in the required filed and press submit. Your account should be activated.

Third step they will ask you to select the phone model the number you registered. Its better you can select any model and send the sms. (As it is not advisable to install the software, it will connect to internet to get that software and you will loose some money :-) Now your account is activated.

Go and click my accounts and in the left panel select the Credit Balance you will see 3 GBP should be credited. Then go to the WEB MO call button and click it and input the number in the to and from field. Advise : In the from field you can put either the registered number or any landline or mobile number which you have that time with you. Coz sometimes I had experienced the call doesnt come if you input the registered number. In the to filed put the number you want to call. Then press MO Call... after few seconds u will recieve call to the from number and an automated voice will welcome you and give you the number of minutes you can speak and then will connect the to number.

This method is bit expensive and ends up your free signup amount bit fast. As this website is based and meant for UK customers you can only get the cheapest offer if you are in UK and have UK mobile. You can play with this system and can use as many mobile numbers you can get and registed them take code from them and keep on calling..anything for free is welcome.

I don't know how long it will keep on going some may experience their account not activated. They loose that number. Sometimes call got dropped, Sometimes you jus dont receive the call... but apart from all this u should keep on trying and you will learn how to play with this website. I had made 100's of free minutes to India and each account gave me max 14 minutes for free. Enjoy free calling.

Quick Tip:
A very easy to use web based free calling (though limited)
Challenges:
You should learn to play with the system and who knows somebody might come up with new tricks also.

trailtel.com.au offer a way to recieve SMS over IP. this would work to set up multiple accounts without having multiple cell phones. morodo allows transfer of credit. so you could spend a little time and have lots of credit if you set up sms accounts and than just cancelled. also save money by using with a UK DID. with this system you can call anywhere free unlimited as long as morodo keeps offering the free credit and credit transfer.

If you can please let us in more details how to setup things then it will be more useful. trailtel.com.au how to use their services. Is it possible anyone anywhere can use it??? How to get a UK DID (what is it???)...I hope if possible you can mention all the details so that it will help all the novices to understand the terms and will be much easier to use the workaround.

Thanks Madsdxb – I’ve taken a look as I like calling for free also. The UK Company is very unique in that it is focused on Mobiles. Calling from the web appears to me as an after thought. It’s not even listed in services. I’ve registered and downloaded software to my handset. Being based in Australia, I use the roaming service. Charges are a lot cheaper than the Carriers here. The nice thing is I can save a small fortune when I’m out and about and I do not need the internet but rather just my mobile (which I have with me at all times anyway). Try the service from the handset, it’s very good. Your handset will need to be able to send an international SMS. Now I have an alternative Mobile Carrier for International calls. Good stuff!

Besides the free 3 pounds, what do you think of their rate to call India (from the UAE)if I wanna pay for my calls?

Dear Clark1507..Calling from UAE to India will be very expensive. As I had given the workaround and even mentioned that only if you are in Uk.. they offer 7 pence per minute. But if you call from UAE to India its comes under roaming ...and as per their tarrif its seems to be 22 Pence...so not advisable at all..to invest money into.. it...
