Earthcaller.com let you call to landline and mobile numbers in the US with an activeX in your Internet Explorer Browser.
I´ve found SIP settings to use earthcaller voip provider from any sip device.
user: earthca11er
pass: n155an07
server: 24.204.0.48
Example with X-Lite Softfhone:
Display Name: earthca11er
User Name: earthca11er
Password: n155an07
Authorization user name:
Domain: 24.204.0.48
Sometimes you´ll need to retry twice but it works and it´s free. :-)
You can call any US number for free using your ATA, Asterisk, DualPhone, softphone or any sip device.

This doesn't seem to be working anymore. Does anybody have a fix for this
I am using Asterisk 1.4.x
I tried to run the Earthcaller ActiveX but it shuts down and restarts my computer. Why does it not install on some machines? I am using Explorer 7 as required.
Bellow is what shows up in the ActiveX under the name VAXSOFT:
C:windows\Downloaded programfiles\conflict.4\VAXSipUserAgentCAB.ocx
Why does it say Conflict.4? Is this ActiveX signed or unsigned? Any help would be appreciated.

i am from Bangladesh. Tried to call some usa domestic numbers using earthcaller,but it fails.The log window says-

I have installed the activeX. Also tried with the x-lite sip phone with the configuration provided.Neither works. What can I do?

I can connect and the user name is displayed as "earthcaller". But when try to call a number in USA it says the user is not available, although the phone number is valid and the user is there. Can anybody tell me how to solve this?

interesting. it is working great from an x-lite and an ATA. it is not working from either PBXes or mysipswitch. they most be blocking thoose IP's.
can you tell us how you decoded this?
