This is a website called
www.zootok.com.
I used this website 2 months back when they were giving free calls.
Let me explain you a bit about this website. When intially launched they provided 1 Hour call to any phone in the world for 50 Pence. Intially the signup was free and 1 GBP was credited so that you can talk 2 Hours for free. Then they changed the system and started asking for Signup amount which is 1 GBP and they will credit free 1 GBP to your account it meant 4 Hours for 2 GBP of which 1 GBP was free.
As I am based in UAE we have literally no words left with us to talk as 1 hour call is too much. I used to call India.
Later on they had some problem with their supplier and they stopped providing the calls to the Middle east. You can visit their webapage and see the excluded list.
But the best thing is India is not on that list so people those who are not in the exculded countries list can make calls to their loved one worlwdie (except the list of not included countries).
You sign up and pay money minimum 1 Pound is advisable for the trail. You get 4 hours free. Though it takes time to get your money credited as its a One man Show and you are using the google pay out service to pay so maximum 24 hrts will take for your account to be credited and you should have a gmail account in order to open a account in zootok. As Mr. OTU the onwer will track your payment by your gmail account only hence a gmail account is the most preffred one.
Before they used to have sms call back but now they have stopped it and you have to use thier website to initiate the call. Its very easy but the only catch is each call can last 60 Minutes only and if you drop the call before that you loose 50 pence. If the call also get dropped for any other reason you loose 50 pence. So the best is always use this wonderful and the most cheapest I think ever to call when you have loads of talking to do which will take minimum 1 hour.
Quick Tip:
The best and the cheapest web based Mobile to Mobile calling 1 Hour for 50 Pence WORLDWIDE.
i checked out the website. it say 'up to one hour.' i take that to mean it depends on location being called. just like the jaxtr 'up to 100 minutes.' they have no destination list with time allowed.
who has used this and can confirm talk time to certain destinations? i am sure that the one hour is for the usual free/cheap destinations that are common among many voip companies.
i would be intersted if anyone used for india and knows how many minutes?
