The Internal Revenue Service today recently announced IRS has exanded IRS e-file program for 2008 federal tax returns. The tax agency this year expanded its electronic filing program in ways that make it free for anyone who wants to use it.

The income limit to qualify for the IRS Free File program has been raised this year 2008-2009. Taxpayers with adjusted gross income of up to $56,000 - more than 98 million of them can now file electronically (efile) through Free File now. The program is a partnership between private tax preparers and the IRS.

We noticed that many people are still aint aware of Free IRS Efile and been searching for www.IRsGov.com www IRs.gov, which in fact is a official IRS Website.

IRS for the first time is also offering Free File Fillable Forms. There is no income limit to use this. But Fillable Forms is electronic filing for DIY. With Free File, for instance, tax preparation software prompts you on deductions and forms you need to submit. You don't need to know the tax code.

Just for knowledge sake, even if you file your federal taxes with IRS Efile at IRS.Gov, you still need to file your state taxes. Maryland State is offering free state tax efiling at Maryland Taxes

we strongly suggest that to first prepare your taxes for IRS Efiling, you must get one of the IRS recommended
Tax Preparation service which is TaxBrain.
