We all know the extremely successful Mobile Phone in the market today, of course the Apple iPhone. However it may not be hold the glory for long, Nokia has annouced that they will soon launch a rival phone called Nokia Tube.

Nokia Tube concept was showcased at Evans Data Developer Relations Conference in Redwood City. It is said to be the most powerful device people will hold. We can assume it will be launched in the early 2009, although official Nokia Tube Launch date is not yet out.

Nokia Tube should have good support for safari browser, Wifi, 3G and GPRS/EDGE. On top of that, Nokia Tube should be supporting the now famous "touch" screen features which are offered in IPhone and Sony Erricson P990i

Nokia Tube will also have extensive support to Java and therby open gateways for developers working on J2ME format.

According to Washington Post,  The touchscreen device uses a lot of graphics and will allow photos to be easily uploaded.

Nokia is also launching the latest series of Nokia Phone called Nokia n96 this august.
