I stood in the hall beside my landlady, when the London hospital called to say her sister had died. She was too far down the list to get the heart surgery she needed immediately. She left two teenage boys behind. I picked my daughter up at the airport, so she could have the critical surgery she needed in the U.S. In Canada she was on a three month waiting list just to see the specialist. As someone who lived abroad for twelve years and has a family of expats, I can assure you that they zoom right back to the U.S.A. when medical problems arise. Think about it!!

Our national government needs to stay out of healthcare in our nation. Our country needs LESS government control......not MORE!!! All the congressional representatives from the state of Arizona have already been contacted by my family. Everyone I know is against this legislation. I worked for over fifty years and aquired healthcare beacase it was part of my benefits package. Does obama and the bureacrats want to control everyones life with their socialist minds? Why isn't the proposed plan good enough for members of congress and their families? They voted against an amendment that would put their families in this plan and subject them to the same mess we would have. Last week, my wife delivered a healthy baby boy. She lost almost a gallon of blood during the process and lost consciousness. Precious seconds were passing. Thanks to the supplies, instruments, and staff available to that doctor in that private hospital, my wife is alive today. With the proposed plan, that hospital would not have the staff or resources available to respond to all emergencies. Scheduled procedures will be delayed or postponed for political reasons. Your health care will be held hostage to advance a greedy, cold, and heartless agenda. The government already runs a health care system: The Veterans Hospital. Have you heard about the waiting list, delays, and incompetence that is commonplace in that system? Thank God for private health care.

If government health care is anything like Healthy Families. I do not want it. My son has had expensive health care from by past employment. That health care was worth paying for. This health care has too many people involved in the decisions that nothing has been approved and he still suffers from headaches and no one knows why. All test allowed show nothing and more test are not covered or approved. His insurance dose not even cover a pain clinic. It is true You get what you pay for. As I see it the ones that feel like they deserve every thing for nothing will have every body else pay for them. The old Americans ran away and fought for freedom and the right to be responsible for their successes and failures. This new Americans are lazy and want others to pay for their well being. This is not a new idea. It has been in the making for years (The New World Order), that our government will have complete control over every person, place and thing on this planet. Please get a copy of Aaron Russo's last movie (DVD) called America: Freedom to Fascism, and you will see what our government (or the wealthy few who are their puppeteers), have planned for you and yours. We have been so busy watching TV (which is also controlled by the elite few) and working more hours to feed our families and pay more taxes, that we don't notice the infiltration of government on our private lives...and that's just where they want us to be!
