WebMon: A freeware web page update monitoring program

WebMon is a freeware web page update monitoring program - it saves you
time and keeps you updated by automatically checking web pages to see
if they have changed.

There are many other services out there that do not require download, but they work by sending only email notifications to you. I needed a software that reminded me every minute or so that the webpage/site changed through a notification on my computer. I didn't want to check my email every 5 minutes or so to find out if the site changed.

Then i found a freeware called WebMon and i recommend it to all!
Here are the features-

  • Checking an unlimited number of web pages.
  • Scheduling automatic checking at set intervals.
  • Optional pop-up alerts and sounds when updates are found.
  • Running other programs when updates are found.
  • Selecting which part of the web page to check.
  • Update logging.
  • Proxy support, with authentication.
  • Unintrusive tray icon when minimised.
  • Importing IE favorites and Firefox / Netscape bookmarks.
  • Help system - simply press F1 at any time.
  • Simple installation and removal.
  • Freeware, with no advertising or spyware.
