60 Free VoIP services, Free Softphones and Free DID Numbers from around the world Worldwide millions of people are switching to VoIP, especially if regular long distance or international calls have to be made. Generally VoIP services are very affordable and far cheaper than any traditional Telco, although sometimes quality can still be an issue. If you would like to take your savings to the limit, then check the "Free" VoIP services we have listed below. We could not find exactly 60, but thought that the heading would be catchier than 58. Anyway it is enough to keep many of you busy for a few days to test and play around. It has taken us a two weeks to compile this overview and maybe we have missed the one or other interesting service. Should this be the case please let us know or add it to the comments section below this article. For easier referenece we have divided this overview into four sections. We did not take any regular "unlimited" call plans into account, although they could be classified as dirt cheap or alomost free if you fully utilize your monthly call allowance.
