Its recession time and everybody needs money. Economic Stimulus Package had something called Stimulus checks which were paid last year and due for this year 2009.

So are you going to get a Stimulus check 2009 or not?

Most people in USA would received a 2009 Stimulus check. If you are a person who receive Social Security in USA would get a Stimulus check 2009.

However, According to the social security Administrations there are some people who wouldn't qualify for Stimulus check in 2009.

The following Social Security and SSI beneficiaries won’t receive the one-time payment:

1) Anyone who’s living outside the United States or its territories

2) Anyone who’s no longer lawfully present in the United States

3) anyone whose benefits have been suspended under the law for giving false or misleading statements

4) anyone who’s a minor child

5) anyone who’s a prisoner, a fugitive felon or a violator or probation or parole.

6) If you are a person who is entitled only to Medicare and not to Social Security or SSI benefits.

Stimulus check 2009 will be worth $250 per person and should be sent out automatically this time of the year. The stimulus checks 2009 are already being sent out if you do not receive 2009 stimulus check by June 4th 2009, do call up at (800) 772-1213 to enquire who your Stimulus check 2009 wasn't sent to you.

Widow Receiving Survivor Benefits

I have been receving Survivor Benefits since 1984 when my husband died. I am wondering if I will receive a check and if so will it be automatically deposited into my checking account. I owe money to the VA Hospital and I owe for both Federal and State Taxes. Will this check be used to pay any of these amounts, or will I be able to use it to get my car fixed instead? Stimulus Check For Survivors On Pension For Widows/Widowers

My husband retired from the Post Office in August of 1992 and was receiving a pension check every month until his death on October 23, 2003. Now I am receiving that pension check as a surviving widow. Will I receive the stimulus check for $250.00 since I am getting his pension. Thank You Suzanne V. Schwarberg
