THIS IS A TOTAL RIP OFF. AND BE CAREFUL, READ THE FINE PRINT. YOU THINK YOU ARE PAYING $29.95 FOR A FICO SCORE, AND IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL, THEY CONTINUE BILLING YOUR CREDIT CARD. THEY RAN UP CHARGES FOR 9 MONTHS BEFORE I REALIZED WHAT WAS HAPPENING. VERY DIFFICULT TO UN-DUE. THEY SHOULD BE REPORTED!!!!

stay away from Freescore.com and instead opt for creditreport.com. They are atleast honest in what they provide you.

have yet to find a free one they all charge a fee to check on how they screw up everybodys credit with their scoring system that control how much interest we must pay on any loans or credit cards we persue. I think the Governmment should re instate old usary laws that controlled how much interest banks and loan company can charge for any loans in my opinion none should be higher then 12% The so called pay day loans are the worst taking advantage of desperate people in debt. with high way robbery fees

The best way to get your credit reports is straight from the 3 bureaus and it is completely free once a year. Your fico score is not your credit rating. The best credit report website i found is ran by experian called freecredit report.com and offers free experian credit reports every month for a monthly charge of 15 bucks. It links you directly to experian dispute website. Transunion and equifax are not reported to as much as experian is.

I have been done by freescore.com - they promised to provide a credit report and I paid them via credit card but they cannot raise any report. Now they refuse to refund the payment and now I have had to cancel my credit cards for all the bogus transactions on it. I am now receiving odd emails about my credit score which I have never received until around a week of registering with freescore.com Shame on you freescore.com you are the very scammers who you claim to stop – you are disgusting.

After I found out that they had charged me $29.99 I called them to cancel. she said that she would put in for cancelation. They refunded me one dollar, so it only cost me $28.99 NOW HOW CAN THEY CALL THAT FREE. THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU SHOULD CLOSE THEM DOWN!!!

i was just on the site and they fully tell their customers about their fee. if you cancel within the first 7 days it says that they will not charge you anything and cancel your membership free of charge. it is in their second step and plain as day. be sure you read everything before signing up for anything, specially online. im only 20 and i know that.

Ben Stein has built a reputation as a savvy public spirited economist and tv figure ("take ben stein's money') now he stoops low, very low, to endorse a scam product: free score.com, which if you sign up they will charge you 30.00 per month for virtually nothing. there are several ways to get a free credit rating update, truly free, no credit card required. Ben Stein should be ashamed of himself and divorce himself from these scammers immediately. "an anti-scammer citizen"

Lost most of his money when Merrill Lynch went down in flames. This is common knowledge....exactly how much of a genius does he look like knowing that?

I understand that Experian does not sell their info to FICO, but they sell Vantage Score instead. As individual, we cannot access to our own FICO score, except when we apply for a creditm then, a lender can purchase it from Experian. Equifax sells FICO score on their site when you order free anual report. Transunion sell Vantage score, too. If you are looking for FICO scores. You can get EQ and TU scores from FICO. The problem is that Vantage scores are not commonly used. So what scores are we getting when someone offers scores from THREE bureaus? It is confusing, but clever. "Scores" are not "FICO" scores. Monitoring is great, but AT LEAST we can get free reports once a year from each bureau. And you could do once every four months. Check FICO scores, when they have discounts. All three bureaus have their own monitoring services, too.

I have experienced the same trouble getting the trial offer, and who in the add tells you you have to sign up for anything extra? I think it's because I was not willing to check the box that enables them to pass your information to other services. That's how they make their money. It really is a scam. Don't waste your time!

freescore.com is hiden scam. I attempted to sign up yesterday and the message I got was that my card wasn't accepted. I checked my account today and guess what?? They actually charged me yesterday and didn't give me the service. I called them and they asked me to call in three business day....and was this woman rude!!! She acted like I was asking for free service.

the first thing you should do is call your credit card cusotmer service and ask them to CHARGEBACK your card for freescore.com. Once they confirm the chargeback, freescore can't do anything :-) Secondly, ditch freescore and go for identity guard Its value for money. They give credit report + secure your identity so no one else can claim your credit report or take loans against your name. there is too much fraud these days and its better to go for identity guard that just other credit report services. freescore is anyways not free.

Ok the first place in the world that made it simple to cancel (once you actually find the phone number). However I missed my free trial by one day. However I cancelled it to make sure I don't forget the next time. So after charging me the full $30 they cancelle dit effective immediately! I paid for a full month and got one day! I just realized this... time to sift through the site to find a number again!

Ok I feel the need to correct my last statement. After I finally did find the number... I called and explained that I paid for the full month but only got one day. She asked what I would like her to do (she wasn't snotty like it sounds). I said well I would at least like the to use it the whole month or get my money back.. I also explained that I would much rather get my money back. She said no problem!! I thought for sure this was a trick. She made it that simple. I went into it expecting to meet a lot of resistance and didn't. Can't believe it!

Not only is it NOT free, but you either have to navigate a confusing website to try and find a way to cancel within the 7-day trial (or risk getting charged $29.95 and having to FIGHT to get any kind of reimbursement) or make a call, and good luck getting through to a real person to get it cancelled in time...

It leads one to believe it is free however it is not.

How come, I can sign-up for anyone's reporting scheme on line but am required to make a phone call to cancel; which involves innumerable holds and attempts to talk me out of cancellation.
