is there a program to help disabled senior citizens with home repairs

We started remodeling a mobile home 5 years ago. John's health has deteriorated and he is now on oxygen full time and has a new pacemaker. We have spent our reserves doing what what was necessary but there is are still some things to finish up. He is unable to do the work and I do what I can but there is no money for materials and help I would need.
