I just learned from AAA Michigan that michigan gas prices increased again in october 2009 by 9 cents per gallon to a statewide average of $2.61. why are michigan gas prices so high? The cheapest price for self serve regular fuel is in the Grand Rapids and Bay City/Saginaw areas, where it’s $2.58 a gallon. The highest average can be found in the Marquette area at $2.66.
